Warranty Terms & Conditions for Magic Film/Glass

1. 1. Our company will provide installation of smart film/glass only. In any case dismantle of glass is required for defect repair, Shield Perfect Pte Ltd shall not liable for the cost.
2. 2. Other necessities decorative such as; applying of silicone, trimming, beveling, drilling and skirting are not included.
3. 3. Must have individual electrical conduit solely use for magic film/glass has to be installed prior of the installation of the privacy glass. Since the privacy glass would require electrical energy to energize, therefore, electrical conduit has to prepare by the purchaser.
4. 4. There is a soft "clicking" sound appear from the transformer when the switch/remote control is pressed.
5. 5. For installation of smart film; there will be a (+/-) of 3mm-4mm gaps in-between the side glass, and minor spot of dust/white spot/air bubbles maybe seen after installation for both magic film and magic glass which shall not claim under warranty.
6. 6. The glass/film must have proper storage conditions at the factory or site. The glass/film should be kept free from the rain water and moisture and must be protected from damage during storage and handling.
7. 7. There will have a rainbow effect from certain angle because our material contains high scratch resistance coating, to prevent the material from any scratches during cleanliness.
8. 8. After installation, please allow for a direct view of 70%-80% clarity from either side of the glass. However, kindly note that any view from an angle other than that of a direct angle will produce an opaque view.
9. 9. For installation of smart film; please allow a 90% blemish free installation, kindly note that there will be unforeseen circumstances that may affect the installation, as this is a labor intensive process, however, we will strive to achieve the best installation results.
10. 10. The replacement of smart film/glass colour will be different due to the production of every batch material.
11. 11. Warranty terms and conditions for magic film/glass shall have it's terms and conditions updated via web page http://www.shieldperfect.com.sg/, under register warranty page. Shield Perfect Pte Ltd reserve the right to amend "Warranty terms and conditions for magic film/glass" without prior notice to all affected customers.
12. 12. An individual 3 pin electrical point to be used ONLY by allocated magic film/glass, 100% no sharing of the point with any other devices.
13. 13. Only use clean and smooth fibre material to gentle wipe and clean the magic film, do no use any glass solution and chemicals (warranty will be void).

Warranty for Magic Glass/Film

1. 1. One (1) year from the installation date for satisfactory performance of the supplied magic film/glass against electrical failure.
2. 2. Free labor, transport and film/glass warranty for the first six months upon completion of job against defective product.
3. 3. After six months, labor, transport and other costs except film/glass cost will be charged accordingly.
4. 4. Please note labor to install new smart film or smart glass will be charged six months after six months upon completion of job against defective product.
5. 5. Labor for installation of smart film is fixed at $5 psf.
6. 6. Labor for installation of smart glass is fixed at $300/man/day rate.
7. 7. At anytime time during the warranty period, if we need to dispose smart glass, there will be an fix amount of $100/glass charged to client.

The Warranty Does Not Cover

1. 1. Environmental conditions or use exceeding design standards.
2. 2. Damages result from; vandalism, accidents, incorrect installation by third parties, inadequate maintenance, neglect, misuse or abuse.
3. 3. Alteration, application, or attachment of unapproved materials and coating, and power surges from the power company.
4. 4. Extra charges that occur during the removing and re-install of the smart film/glass (eg. scaffolding charges, transport & accommodation charges for outstation job, labor charges for removing & re-installing the magic film/glass).
5. 5. If we need to remove glass or any other obstructing product/material in order for Shield Perfect Pte Ltd to install a new smart film, labor for that will be charged accordingly.
